DIRECTIONS FROM KING SHAKA AIRPORT TO QUARTERS HOTEL

Distance – 32 km
Estimated time – 30-45 minutes

From the King Shaka Airport take the N2 south road towards Durban/Umhlanga.

Take the R4 towards La Mercy. You will pass through the Toll plaza. The toll is R 4.00 for a normal vehicle.

Then follow the N2 Durban toll road towards Durban.

Take the M27 Verulam/Umdloti turn off, keep left. Then take glide off to your left towards Umdloti.

From there turn right onto M4 Umhlanga.

You will pass Sibaya Casino on your right hand side. At the turning circle go straight through towards M4 Durban.

Then you will see the Suncoast Casino on your left hand side, just after you see the Casino you will approach an intersection. At this intersection turn right onto the M17 (Sandile Thusi Road).

You will then go through 6 sets of traffic lights. At the seventh set turn left into Avondale Road.

We are the two white houses surrounded by a white “pillar” fence.

From Durban City Centre:

From the City Hall in Dr Pixley Kaseme (West Street) take the first left into Samora Machel (Aliwal Street).

Continue straight into Masabalala Yengwa (NMR Avenue) and turn off at the first off ramp on Masabalala Yengwa onto the M17/ Sandile Thusi (Argyle Road).

Turn left and continue straight through five sets of traffic lights, at the sixth set (Avondale Road) turn left.

Quarters on Avondale is on your immediate right. We are the two white houses surrounded by a white “pillar” fence.

Directions from Quarters Hotels Avondale to King Shaka Airport - Durban

Exit Quarters Hotel via the front gate and turn left. At the traffic lights turn right onto Sandile Thusi Road.

You will then go through 6 sets of traffic lights, keep left, at the 7th set take the glide off to the left onto the M4 (Ruth First Freeway)

From the M4 you will need to take the turn off near Umdloti onto the N2. From the N2 follow the airport signs to the King Shaka Airport.
